The Quechee Inn at Marshland Farm

Stayed here a couple of times now and it is an amazing experience. The rooms are nice and clean and have a good vibe to them. The staff and service is great. They are very accommodating for late check ins and for other small requests and the highlight is probably the food. The breakfast is unbeatable (and not just because its included) and the dinner selection is really good. We had the dinner for 2 Prix Fixe Friday and it was delicious.

We wanted to spend a long weekend in Woodstock, and decided to stay here. It was the best decision! The inn itself is super cozy and cute, just 15 from Woodstock itself. The lobby had a fireplace, where you could spend a nice evening with a book (or a drink from a bar that is right there). The food in the restaurant is great, especially the hot breakfast! Scrambled eggs, sausages, pancakes with home made maple syrup, fruits and yogurt, coffee and juice. Was more than enough to keep us full for the day of walking and skiing. The room was very nice and clean, and the bed super comfortable and soft. All the staff members were very caring and helpful, with an informal approach to each guest. |Thank you to all the staff of the inn! Will definitely come back again.

I booked the family suite for one night on a weekend in February. The location is excellent, close to cross country skiing at Lake Pinneo, downhill skiing at Quechee club, snowshoeing on the trail right across the street by Dewey's pond (you may also be able to ice skate there, but the surface looked bumpy), and convenient to other Quechee and Woodstock restaurants. The room itself is very large and you could fit a lot of people in there, with a king, double, twin, plus a pull out sofa and a folded cot in the closet. The room appeared clean but under the beds and furniture was very dusty (I was only looking while searching for a toy car that rolled under). The odd thing was that we checked in, put our belongings in our room, and went up to the lobby to sit by the fire. While we were up

What a pleasant surprise. Love the cozy fireplace, the bar area, and the surrounding fields. The room was nice, and the dinner was amazing, and the room rates were reasonable. The full breakfast buffet was really good. When my wife and I were driving away, we both agreed that we would be back.

The Inn is so quaint in such a beautiful setting, a true Vermont experience and the staff from the front desk to the dining room is always a pleasure to interact with and always makes one feel like an old friend. The meals from the complimentary breakfast to dinner are tasty and presentation is superb. Sitting by the fire is just the ticket to a relaxing afternoon or evening
