This beautiful 😍 gem on Park Ave is a touch of class!!!! From the beginning, the check in was flawless! The attention to detail with the room facing park ave and the chocolates on the desk was a nice touch. The bathroom with the all in one built bidet was class across all the way. The rooftop bar ( although a gloomy night ) was brightened up immeasurably by the bartender from Austria. His mixology skills were top tiered!!!! The drinks and the food were a tad pricey however its understood by the QUALITY of the hotel itself. Lastly I will say as one of the ONLY JAPENESE inspired hotels in the area I appreciate the LEVEL of commitment to the staff and support staff that made my stay memorable!!!!

This is a lovely boutique hotel. Great bars and restaurants, with excellent, high touch service. Valet parking, bellhop, quick and easy check in. The bartenders in the lower level restaurant and the rooftop, were all so warm and kind. They also had excellent rates, and the hotel is very clean. The rooms are smaller than what I’m accustomed to, but it’s not way too small, it was fine for myself alone. Bathrooms have heated towel racks (that kind of didn’t really do much in my opinion) and the toilets have bidet’s — which was actually pretty cool. Oh, and I had a great view of the Empire State Building from my room. All in all, I’d definitely recommend this hotel and would stay again.

Comfortable and clean rooms, had a nice view of the Empire State building from our room. Complimentary in room coffee, wifi and 2 bottled waters daily was a nice touch. They offer nice quality linens, robes and slippers and we loved the bidet. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. The location was good as well, close to Grand Central Station and in a quieter side of town. Would definitely stay again. The on site breakfast was good and the rooftop bar is a must do for spectacular cocktails that are matched by the views. Thank you Prince Kitano team for a wonderful visit to NYC!

We stayed 5 nights before going to Boston and 3 nights on our return to New York. The hotel is excellently situated for getting about and the Tartinery nearby is great for breakfast. The bed is comfortable. The rooftop bar has good views but the guy who makes the cocktails was sick. They also let us check out an hour later. However the rooms are compact and in serious need of updating. Whilst it was nice to have a toilet with a heated seat, we would have swapped it for a modern shower which worked well rather than one which almost qualified as an antique. Staff very friendly and helpful.

Positive: The bed linens are amazing. This is just a comfortable, clean small hotel with a very professional staff. Negative: I don't like the resort fee and would prefer a different approach by the hotel.
