The Panacea Motel

I absolutely loved this place! Ive always been leary of motels but not after staying here. The retro fridge, microwave, and coffee bar was such a nice touch! The bath towels were not the cheap kind and the bedding was perfect! The walk to the bay was perfect early morning. Friendly and helpful staff. Couldn't recommend this place enough!

This motel is SUPER cute. With new, retro appliances, custom wood furniture and clean, spacious rooms, it's perfect for a short or extended stay. It's quiet, a few minutes from the beach and there are several nature attractions ideal for a relaxing stay. Dana and Jennifer are wonderful. They work hard to keep things clean and ready for every visitor. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay there and look forward to my next visit.

What a gem! From booking, to the moment I arrived the services exceeded my expectations. The staff was extremely friendly, attentive, and professional. They made checking in simple and easy. My room was immaculate. It was clear that great care was taken with cleanliness and presentation. The linens were fresh, and every detail in the room felt thoughtfully arranged. Room #10 was peaceful, modern, and pristine. Another highlight was the location. In a cute, quiet little town, the hotel is situated near a number of fantastic local restaurants with seafood being a favorite. Overall, this was a flawless experience from start to finish. If you are looking for a clean, comfortable place to stay with outstanding service, spotless rooms. and easy access to food and the water this is the place!!

What a charming place to stay! My son and I stayed here overnight after attending a football game and I wish we had more time here. The room far exceeded our expectations-it was decorated nicely with a retro vibe. The bathroom had some nice little extras such as cotton balls in little mason jars, and the coffee bar area was such a welcome and wonderful addition. The only negative, which didn't affect us that much since we only stayed one night, was that there was no cable for the TV and we didn't have a Roku account. We would definitely stay here again!

We spent two nights in the cottage bungalow (#20), a spacious cottage with two large beds, two twin beds, and two bathrooms. It also has a full-size kitchen, dining area, and a back deck where we could sit and have coffee in the morning or a glass of wine in the evening (before the mosquitoes started to swarm). The cottage was very clean, with pretty much everything we needed. The Wi-Fi was easy to set up, the TV worked great for streaming, and the air conditioning ran smoothly. A few minor issues: the front door wouldn't stay closed unless the deadbolt was thrown; while the window blinds worked, some of them needed repair; and a few of the table lamps didn't seem to work (the overhead lights were fine).
