The Oak Motel

Before I begin: this isn’t an upper echelon motel, it’s a simple and clean place to sleep. With that being said Angie is a superb woman who tries very hard to impress with a clean place and her kindness. Overwhelmed but being sincere The room is nice, clean, comfortable beds and what the heck, one can’t keep the complainers happy Enjoy

They even have a covered area with strings of lights and TVs and remotes. It has much seating and a couple of baby bassinets, and then I thought we were there, there was a bounce house. I don't know if the bounce house was from an earlier party, but there was no evidence of it. The room smelled wonderful and had a comforting, home-like feel to it. I can't say it was sparkling clean at every inch, but no low prices hotel is, and it wasn't dirty. There were also no bugs. Great staff! Great service! Great room!

This is an absolutely adorable motel. It’s a great price, it’s been updated nicely and has a beautiful restored feel. The staff is incredible and were so sweet. The outside area with TVs and a grill was great to kick back after a long day. We would absolutely stay again. Family of 4 🫶🏻

We actually really loved this place. It's nestled right in a small quaint Texas town so if you're expecting luxury you're in the wrong place. Our room was clean and cute. We used the outside sitting area to watch TV, cook, and just hang out. The lady at the front desk was super sweet, polite, and extremely accommodating. We ended up staying for 5 days while visiting from Colorado and had the best time. Is it fancy? No but that's what makes it so cute. It felt like you were in town visiting your auntie or grandma for a few days. We always felt safe and any and all of our requests were met with kindness and patience. Thanks for a great stay. We look forward to the next time!
