The North Shore Inn

We had a wonderful stay at the North Shore Inn in Crestline. Saed and Abdul were incredibly friendly and welcoming. The inn is conveniently located just across the street from Lake Gregory, offering a partial lake view, and within walking distance to Goodwin’s & Sons Market and the charming small town. We loved the nearby Lake Gregory Fitness Trail that goes around the entire lake—it’s a beautiful place for a walk or jog.||Staying here was a refreshing change from the typical hotel chain. The bed was very comfortable, the sheets beautifully embroidered, and the room was clean, quiet, and relaxing. We were expecting rustic and charming; instead, we got drab, shabby, dirty, and ugly. We don't even know where to start. The room was filthy. All the table surfaces were sticky; anything we put down on them had to be practically peeled off. We had difficulty finding any free electrical outlets to plug in and charge our phones; when we did find some, every one of them was so old and loose that our plugs kept falling out. There were no night tables at all, which made it a little difficult to function. All the lamps in the room had garish fluorescent light bulbs, which cast an industrial-looking pall over everything. A ledge in the bathroom was covered with dust, and the small metal soap dish drilled into the shower's tiled wall felt like it was going to fall out at any moment. One of the han

Me and my wife were able to book a room with short notice on Labor Day!! Abdul was super nice and extremely helpful. The rooms were very nice with a homey feel and the views are amazing! Directly across from Lake Gregory with anything you need in walking distance. We love it so much we booked an extra night. Would highly recommend. We will be back!

It's ok just sleep one night. Clean bed and town but smell older. Good location near restaurants and groceries in town .

I had an amazing experience staying at The North Shore Inn. The room was spotless and had a fresh, clean laundry scent that made it feel instantly comfortable. The view of the lake from my private balcony was absolutely beautiful and added so much peace to the stay. The staff were incredibly friendly and knowledgeable, always ready to help and make recommendations. There’s a restaurant on-site, free and safe parking, and a grocery store conveniently located right across the street—everything you need is right there. Overall, I truly enjoyed my stay and would absolutely come back again. If you're looking for a relaxing, clean, and well-managed place to stay near the lake, this is it.
