The New Yorker Miami Hotel

We stayed here the night before our cruise. The beds and pillows were very soft. We loved winding our way thru the back area with great art and so much greenery. The pool was clean and so fun. We needed some very important papers copied and they gladly did that with no charge. Love the area! Very eclectic.

Bizarre, rude experience – not welcoming||Clean room but ||I arrived after an overnight flight and was refused access to a bathroom because it was “too early to check in.” I was told to “try Starbucks.” I was also quoted over $60 for early check-in, despite explaining that I only needed brief bathroom access. I had two nights booked. They did agree to hold my suitcase while I waited.||As a solo female traveler, I was not given the option to be placed on a safer floor or toward the back of the property. I was told it was “standard rooms only” or I could pay $200 more. No estimated check-in time was offered beyond the advertised 4:00 pm.||I returned at 3:30 pm and, despite being the only person in the lobby, had to prompt the front desk for assistance. The staff member remained on her phone,

Positive: Location was pretty good. Good sized bed. Plenty of space Negative: Could hear a little noise from the streets. Price could be a little cheaper to make it a good value. It?s not super close to downtown or Miami Beach, which has has some cheaper properties with similar amenities.

Extremely clean room with a relatively comfy bed and updated amenities. It was a great place to stay the night before a cruise. I will plan to stay here again the next time we come for a cruise. The walls/ceiling is thin and you can hear footsteps above you. Otherwise would give it 5 stars.

The rooms are very spacious, clean and modern. Wasn't expecting my balcony to be shared but luckily no other guests were in the other room during my stay. The parking lot is pretty cramped, hard to get around. But the location is excellent, right next to a fantastic all night taco bar. I've stayed here before and really enjoyed it, this time was also great besides the balcony now being shared
