My husband and I stayed at the Nauset House Inn for the first time just a few weeks ago for a 2-night getaway before the busy summer season on the Cape. The owners, Cindy & John, and the staff we met, Judy & Marsha, are warm and friendly and make you feel at home from the minute you arrive. We stayed in the Wild Strawberry Room, located on the first floor with a private bath outside the room...everything is immaculate, clean, with great attention to detail. The grounds are private, quiet, and very pretty. | We enjoyed meeting others who were staying at the inn during the afternoon wine hour....and, as mentioned in the other reviews, the homemade breakfasts are absolutely amazing! I am among the lucky people who found the Nauset House Inn over 25 years ago snd won’t go anywhere else on the Cape if I can help it. It has been my husband’s and my home away from home. Just driving down Beach Road toward the Inn makes you smile; your cares seem to float off your shoulders as soon as you drive up the drive. It’s hard to put into words what makes the Nauset House Inn unique;- perhaps above all it is the graciousness, kindness, and attention to detail of the lovely hosts, Cindy and John and their regular staff Marcia and Judy. My husband and I traveled to the cape for a 3 hour trip and we ended up staying for the weekend. We were at Nauset Beach and the first place we called was Nauset Inn. We went there and the owner was very nice and friendly. He provided us with everything we needed to spend the night in the cape. The room was beautiful and comfortable. The entire house was very clean. The breakfast in the morning was amazing. The owners allowed us to leave our car there for the day even after we checked out so we can spend the day at the beach. I will for sure go there again next year. Thank you :)

Spent three midweek nights this week, in the Sea Lavender Room (went with a friend). We had twin beds and a private bath. I was here several years ago and was glad to return. The room was perfect, appreciated the AC unit. Beach towels and chairs available, and a guest refrigerator. Plenty of parking. The two best parts are: 1. half mile walk to Nauset Beach which we did every morning, never a disappointment, and 2. the breakfasts. The food was delicious and we met some really lovely people that we will be staying in touch with. Quiet, cute, convenient to everything (20 mins to Chatham, 10 mins to the bay side, 45 mins to Provincetown). I sat outside several times, reading or catching up with phone calls and social media.
