Customer Reviews
The individual cabins are very cozy and comfy! The heating unit was much appreciated and kept us sleeping like logs all night. The main cabin is very spacious, and had everything we needed to be entertained. We especially loved the ping pong table! We utilized the stocked kitchen to it's fullest extent and were very grateful for all the amenities! We can't wait to stay here again next year, thanks for having us! |-Lexie Brcko-Anaya
The most adorable little cabins! A wonderful place to stay if you're just passing through, or staying for a few days. The beds are comfortable, and the cabin came with towels and linens (so many of the ones we looked at in the area didn't). There's a little picnic table, campfire ring, and outdoor grill so you can have a fire and cook food. The cabin has a little bench on the front porch (which faces south, so the cabin stays cool) and has a small office sized mini fridge and microwave. There's a small TV that gets plenty of channels. And the cabin has wifi! The views from all around were beautiful. Honestly, the best part about the whole experience was the owner/operator of the place. They were so kind, and answered all of our questions. They made staying here easy, and so much fun. This
My wife and I completed a two night stay in one of the cabins this past weekend. The stay was booked earlier this spring online and an hour or so before our scheduled arrival we both received a text with instructions on how to obtain a key to the cabin. We easily gained access and the one small issue that occurred was easily corrected via a text to the same number. We enjoyed the quiet and peace including sitting on the front porch and watching thunderstorms both evenings. The mini fridge and microwave worked great and the bathroom was comfortable with modern fixtures and a large shower. The location was close to both Fishlake and Torrey and we enjoyed our visits to both locations in under 30 minutes travel time.
This is all awesome Lodge, our family rented it out for a family reunion. The facility was really nice and the rooms quite spacious. My understand (a relative managed the reservation and payments) was that it was really quite cheap. It's a good open space for entertaining a large number of people and includes a full kitchen and play room. The only disadvantage was that it got extremely hot inside. It never felt like it cooled down. We ended up sitting outside on the porch rather than enduring the stifling heat of the lodge.
Our cabin was clean with a comfortable queen bed, TV, microwave and small refrigerator. I was happy to have a private bathroom in the cabin. The location is rural and quiet. The owner or an employee checked us in and helped with a couple of recommendations. After check in, there was no additional contact. Clean towels or any type of room service were not provided during our three night stay. I would stay again for one or two nights because it was clean and cheap. Bring your own coffee. It’s at least five miles to get a hot cup in the morning.
