We had a wonderful stay at the Mill Inn. Gorgeous location, charming renovation, and appreciate the ease of check-in/check-out. The rooms are beautiful and the convenience of the Cafe downstairs is such a treat. Overall fantastic experience. Thank you!
There is no "front desk". I arrived around 6:30 PM; there was no one to let me in, no one to direct me and the reservation documentation had no direction on how to get into the building or what room I had rented. I called the help desk twice and they never got back to me. So I ended up stuck outside in my car in the rain. The worst service I have ever seen in my life. This place should just go out of business.

As soon as you walk in the smell of a clean facility greets you. Our room was supplied with the most gorgeous, soft, plush blankets to wrap in after a chilly day soaking in Maine Winter. We made hot drinks (complimentary coffee and tea in our rooms) We had ordered a birthday cake through the cafe downstairs to be waiting to surprise one family member. Not only was it the most delicious chocolate cake to ever hit our tastebuds but the site of this masterfully prepared cake offered up just the birthday surprise we were hoping for. The exposed bricks, the beams, the view of the river and dam right outside our window, all are a beautiful nod to the days when the building was a woolen mill…all while soaking in the comforts of modern day. There is an amenity closet down the hall that you can acc
