The Merry House Inn

My husband and I just Celebrated our 37th Wedding Anniversary here. This place is Beautiful, quiet and Awesome location. Plenty of Wineries to visit and not to far from the city to drive in to eat or activities. The Honeymoon suite was everything we wanted, the room is a very large room, fireplace, Hot tub and a very comfortable King size bed. Breakfast was very good through the week but the Breakfast on Saturday morning was so delicious. We really enjoyed our stay and hope to come back soon. We enjoyed our wine sitting out on the patio. Keep doing what you’re doing, you have a Beautiful home.

My wife & I enjoyed our 10 day visit to the Merry House Inn, and the accommodations were excellent. Jennifer & Justin are the perfect hosts and innkeepers, and Sharon's breakfasts were very enjoyable. Our suite was spacious, very clean, and was located very convenient to the Katy Trail. Also close were several Missouri Wineries, many of which are award winning and well worth a visit & tasting. We plan on returning soon for another extended visit around the holidays, and can't wait. If you're looking for a special weekend getaway or an extended stay, you will not be disappointed. Jennifer & Justin have made every effort to provide you with every comfort at a reasonable price.

Jen, the owner, was absolutely wonderful to deal with... The breakfast was very nice, I will add strong coffee though so if you not a fan of strong coffee like I am mention to make it a little bit weaker. A very nice lady, by the name of Sharon, made us breakfast on Sunday and her French toast was totally out of this world. Jen's daughter, Aubrey, was there to meet us when we had a very late arrival Friday. She is just the sweetest person! It was fun just to get away because we were there celebrating some friends 50th wedding anniversary.

We stayed in the Bridal room the weekend of our wedding. It was PERFECT! The hosts were so accommodating, and allowed us to take our wedding party photos on their property which was a blessing because it was raining so bad on our special day we couldn't take photos outside. Their property is so pretty and filled with natural lighting that our photographer was able to take amazing shots. Additionally, the hosts were quick to respond to anything we needed, fed us delicious breakfast, and cared for our safety. There was flash flooding in the area and they contacted us to move our vehicles to a safer location. I highly recommend The Merry House Inn and look forward to booking again.

Merry House Inn was a true example of excellent hospitality!! We recently stayed over the weekend for our wedding. We had the large suite and kitchen on the bottom. It was absolutely perfect for our wedding weekend!!! We were able to get ready in the bridal area and have lunch for all of our wedding party in the kitchen. The location was perfect for a Defiance wedding. The hair and makeup stylist commented that it was the best set up they have ever been to for a wedding. The hosts were so kind and accommodating, checking in with us to make sure we had everything we needed. I cannot say enough about hot great The Merry House Inn is!!! Thank you for a great stay!!
