The Meadows Hotel

We celebrated our 25th anniversary at this lovely Hotel and hope to return. We own some land on the other side of Harris Fork Creek which was part of the reason for our trip, and we are so happy we chose this hotel. Service was warm and friendly, the rooms were beautifully decorated and the food was outstanding. We met Chris at check in, and he made us feel at right at home. We got to meet Stacey, his wife, and we adored her. Michelle, the night clerk was just as friendly and accommodating. I didn't get the day clerk young woman's name, but these people know hospitality. I loved it here! the staff was friendly, the room was clean and super comfortable. The location was great. There were restaurants, a grocery store, Walmart and dollar store near by which was really convenient. The hotel has a bar/restaurant on site and the food was delicious. For breakfast, they gave $5 vouchers where you can choose between two different places. one was a coffee shop that had pastries and breakfast sandwiches and the other place was a more sit down restaurant. We tried both places and liked them both. Those vouchers definitely came in handy. I love that the hotel was small, it has only 20 rooms which made it quiet and cozy. It had a family feel to it. This is a wonderful place to stay. The lady who checked us in was so friendly and told us a little about the area. I am already planning a return visit. Our room was very spacious and the bed was so comfortable. It’s sad when you sleep better in a hotel bed than you do at home.

Quaint get a way for us. A historic downtown community where this hotel fits nicely. We enjoyed the shops and food available within walking distance. You can stay here and not have to travel far to reach necessities. Fun for holidays like NYE!!

Booked a room to stay overnight on Valentines Day. Within the first hour of us checking in we had two separate times when staff members tried to enter the room. Very uncomfortable situation for me and my wife, so much so that we did not stay the night and ended up driving back home. The Hotel manager told me the room would be refunded but we are now on day 8 with no response from them or any effort from them to make the experience right. Extremely dishonest, unapologetic and in my honest opinion perverted for trying to walk in on my wife and I.
