The McClaine House

This house is absolutely stunning and so well kept. If you enjoy Victorian homes, this is a must stay in Silverton. Beautiful rooms, each with a pull out bed and bathroom. Large kitchen and front and back yards with decks. I can't wait to come back with friends! Easy and friendly service, we booked through air B & B. Super close to all the coffee and restaurants, walking distance.

Karen is an excellent hostess. Her home is pristine, the location is second to none- it was literally like staying in a house right out of a fairy tale. Her cooking is simply amazing. We are talking full course breakfast here. This was an amazing trip and I highly recommend The McClaine House!

Our stay at the McClaine House was a perfect B&B experience. The house was restored so beautifully and is filled with so many thoughtful details, I felt like I'd just stepped into the pages of a Victorian novel. Karen is a lovely, friendly host and an amazing cook. There were treats waiting when we arrived, and coffee right in our room. Breakfast was over-the-top delicious, starting with home-made yogurt and granola, followed by an omelette with white beans that felt both healthy and indulgent. Silver Falls State Park is just outside of Silverton and only a short drive from the McClaine House. We had planned a hike at the Trail of Ten Falls that day, so Karen sent some apple streusel muffins with us, which made a great snack at the end of our hike. We stayed in the Falls Suite, which w

This is a wonderful place to stay! Karen has thought of every detail to make guests feel at home. Our room was large and airy and our bed was very comfortable. We look forward to returning to enjoy the hospitality and also the delicious breakfasts. We recommend it highly.

We stayed upstairs - the room was spacious, bright, and clean. Karen thought of everything! The food was excellent and Karen was very accommodating regarding food allergies. The house is very well-located in Silverton, making it so easy to explore downtown. Highly recommended!
