The Mayfly Cabin

We love the Mayfly Cabin!! This charming and cozy cabin was the perfect getaway for our little family. The cabin is kid-friendly, well-stocked for a long stay if you plan on eating in, and just a short drive from downtown Blue Ridge if you’d rather eat out. I loved drinking coffee on the porch rocking chairs in the morning and eating dinner at the porch dining table in the evening. We can’t wait to go back!

The Mayfly was everything we were looking for in a cabin! I loved sitting on the back deck listening to the rushing water, and my husband loved getting to fish right on the property! The cabin is super cozy and beautifully decorated. It was also easy to get to town for food and shopping. We can’t wait to come back!!

I booked this cabin for a spontaneous getaway for my family and I am so happy I did. We had an amazing stay and split our time between hiking, fly fishing, and shopping and exploring in town. The cabin was pristinely clean when we arrived and is extremely well done. Adventuring was a blast but I think our favorite part was coffee on the porch each morning enjoying the view and the sound of the creek. The only person who may have enjoyed the stay more than me and my wife was our 1 year old, who took over the cabin as his new castle. We enjoyed our stay so much that we actually extended our trip by one day because we just weren't ready to leave! If you are looking for a quiet mountain getaway I would highly recommend The Mayfly Cabin. We will definitely be back.

This is our second stay.We loved sitting in the rocking chairs on the porch listening to the sounds of the trees swaying in the wind, and the river flowing below. Grilling burgers and dogs on the grill and s’mores in the evening by the fire pit. So looking forward to our next stay. The host are absolutely awesome.

Cabin is so cute and cozy! Love the view! It is really clean and well taken care of! The hosts are great too!
