The Lodges at Lost Maples

There was so much to love about the Lodges at Lost Maples. We stayed in the charming Firefly cabin. It was warm and welcoming with rustic charm. The delicious pumpkin bread was a delightful surprise. We especially loved the cool evening and morning lounging in the outdoor swing bed. The Lodges are less than a 15 minute drive to Lost Maples Park which meant we were able to make it on the trail early! Thank you for the lovely stay.

Staying at this lodge was an absolute delight. The setting in the hill country is gorgeous, with peaceful surroundings that immediately put you at ease. The lodging itself is well cared for, comfortable, and has a charm that made our trip feel special.||Jeralyn was a warm, thoughtful host who goes out of her way to make guests feel welcome. The optional big beautiful breakfast was well put together and was a perfect start to the day!||If you’re looking for a relaxing hill country getaway with great hospitality, this lodge is an easy recommendation.

We love The Lodges at Lost Maples. My family - and extended family - have been going to this little hidden gem for many years. My daughters grew up going to the cabins. It's so quiet and peaceful there, and the stars are extraordinary!! I love sitting by the campfire and making S'mores and reading in the hammock. Listening to the birds and other critters is so mediating. The drive TO the cabins is beautiful! However, you can get a little car sick with all the ups and downs and winding roads. But it is SO worth it! The cabins are close to Lost Maples Park and Garner State Park. We will continue to "glamp" at the Lodges at Lost Maples for many years to come!

We had such a memorable time at The Lodges at Lost Maples! Jeralyn was such a help in the 8 months of planning and preparation. The cabins were so roomy, and the kitchen had everything I needed to prepare Thanksgiving meal! I'm already planning the next reunion!

This lodge is located in a nice area of the hill country but the specific lodging / surrounding area is mediocre (barren gravel roads) and moreover, the woman running this lodge - Jeralyn - is an awful host / very unkind person. My husband and I had the misfortune of crossing paths with her and I would say it was one of the low-lights of our year. There are so many beautiful places in the hill country with FRIENDLY / WARM hosts - do yourself a favor and stay elsewhere.||||Note: the owner, Jeralyn, will say this is not a legitimate review because she doesn't have record of us staying here - we 100% did stay at her place.
