The Lodge by Sunapee Stays

What a delightful experience. The Lodge by Sunapee Stays was the perfect place to stay for our little getaway. Everything here is brand new! The rooms were so clean and quaint, with a cool ski lodge vibe. The view of the mountain was incredible and it was even warm enough to enjoy a drink out on our little front porch to enjoy the view. We played chess in the game room, where there are drinks and snacks for purchase on the honor system. I can’t say enough good things. We will be back for sure!

This place is great! We loved the location, the view, and the homey vibes. This felt much less like a hotel and more like a home without the hassle of Airbnb. I have found myself moving back towards hotels vs Airbnb, and this lodge offers the benefits of both. The self check-in and self check out are easy and I felt no reason to talk to a live person at all. The game room was clutch for our family. We escaped to the game room while the kids slept in and retreated there to watch the Olympics with our extended family. We been had a zoom meeting there for work. We also loved the washer and dryer access. After a long week of jumping into the lake, it was great to freshen up our clothes. We enjoyed our stay in the Duckling suite! All the amenities and essentials we needed and beautiful location. There is just a steamer in the community room (an iron/board was advertised) and it took over a week for the security deposit to be returned to our account. However, we greatly enjoyed the stay and recommend staying with Sunapee Stays!

There was no service! Thankfully two young cleaning woman who were visiting after their shift helped us get into room when we arrived. We were never emailed our rm # when we got our email confirmation nor did we receive any information about a code to check in and open the door. Since we are in our 80s our son assumed we misread but even he and our granddaughter agreed with us after they had each read our emails!! Again, thankfully two young women helped us by letting us in our room. They then tried to call their “ manager” to let them know that the last four digits of our phone number didn’t work and we needed help. NO ONE ANSWERED. Nor did anyone ever contact us. The young cleaning gals finally let us in with their code but then we couldnt lock the door after we went out again for fear

We enjoyed our 2-night stay at The Lodge. The location was excellent—close to local activities yet still offering a quiet and relaxing atmosphere. Our room was spotless, well-maintained, and equipped with everything needed for a comfortable stay. From booking through departure, communication from The Lodge was clear, timely, and very helpful. We especially appreciated the heated outdoor pool, which added to the overall experience. The attention to detail and level of care made us feel well looked after throughout our stay. We highly recommend The Lodge to others and look forward to returning at our next opportunity to travel.
