What an amazing stay! I attended a conference and the setting was perfect. Quanesha at check-in was incredibly kind and went above and beyond by personally delivering a fridge to our rooms. Wanda was also wonderful, sharing helpful information about the boat cruises and the hotel’s history. The meeting space and food service were excellent, with beautiful views of the springs. The entire staff was phenomenal—Tanner, Chloe, Cassady, and especially Zane, whose energy and spirit were unforgettable. The food was great and it’s clear the new chef is doing an outstanding job. Housekeeping kept everything spotless and always greeted us with a smile—special thanks to Jessica, Sofia, Cheryl, Amanda, and Caprice. The outdoor experiences were a highlight: manatees from the deck each morning, sceni

My friend and I have been coming here for a very long time and loved it. However, we will not be back. We booked six months in advance for their New Year’s Eve party and a two night stay. The elevator still is not working so our room was on the second floor and I asked if our luggage could be taken up. The lady at the front desk was lovely but she said she had a bad leg so she couldn’t do it. After much insisting, she had a staff member come and take care of it . When we arrived, We found out they had canceled the New Year’s Eve party because it was too expensive. Now we could have a free glass of champagne and watch it on TV. No one called us to notify us the party had been canceled or we would have canceled our reservation. |We always looked forward to eating in the Edward Ball dining ro

After our home cooked Thanksgiving dinner in 2024 my wife and I decided we would have Thanksgiving and Christmas dinner in 2025 at the Wakulla Lodge since we were married there in 1988 and had fond memories of the place. Unfortunately my wife passed away in July 2025 but I was committed to keeping my promise to her and maintained my reservation for Thanksgiving and Christmas. On Thanksgiving day I was shocked as I made my way through the buffet line to observe food that was not visually appealing and unfortunately the taste was the same. Most of the food wasn’t up to temperature and looked as if it had been sitting under warmers for days. However the staff were very attentive in spite of the packed dining rooms. My visit on Christmas Day was even worse as the staff seemed to be disorg

I love it because it’s like stepping back in time. No tv no interruptions just stress free rest. Trails are nice boat rides are wonderful. The food is good but really to expensive. The staff are very nice. Over all it’s a great place to relax and have fun swimming.

I always enjoy taking friends and family for the boat tour and lunch at the lodge. I try to lunch there once a month, as I truly enjoy the park. The boat tour was great yesterday, and the guide did a wonderful job. But the restaurant experience was not good. Our waitress was unfriendly and clearly unhappy waiting on us, she never checked on the table, and we were there twenty minutes before our drink and food orders were taken. When the entries finally arrived an hour later, several dishes were cold. No apologies for the wait were given, and several other tables appeared to get their food in a timely manner. Even more disappointing was the 20% gratuity ($47!) that was automatically added, but not earned. When you spend $300 for a meal, I would hope for much better service and food
