The Lincoln Hotel in Iowa

We spent one night there. The place was absolutely fantastic. Our host gave us our keys gave us a few pointers and told us to lock the door on the way out. Rooms are very nice and decorated tastefully to reflect the year of the building. Absolutely fantastic spot And would go back again.

I came across this charming, historic hotel when I was traveling through Iowa to visit some friends and family. My cousin lives in Lowden and I decided to book a room for us instead of crashing on her couch at her apartment. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! Everything was perfect! Comfortable bed, clean bathroom, nice tv with reliable Wi-Fi. The room we stayed in had electric radiators on the floor plus a mini-split heater that could be operated with a remote. On a very chilly night our room stayed perfectly warm. The owner was so accommodating of our last-minute request to stay at her hotel. She and her staff were really nice. I hope they can make a go of this place since it’s off the beaten path. Lowden is a charming little town that is on the historic “Lincoln Highway”; hence the name of

Very clean, quiet and comfortable. A great place to stay and relax in a small and friendly town. Anita was there to greet us and accommodate our schedule. We will definitely be back!!
