Spent the weekend at the Big House and couldn’t be happier. The house was a bit of an issue for us to find-our own fault for not reading all the welcome information-and we loved it. Road noise has been a common complaint from our group because a lot of rentals sit close the road. Not a problem here. It’s peaceful and quiet and the house itself is beautiful. It feels like someone’s home-not a house thrown together for quick rental income. Plenty of beds and dishes. Washing powder was even provided. We got almost immediate responses from our host and the few minor issues we had (a sticky door and a mismatched coffee pot) were resolved immediately. We got to peek inside one of the cabins to trade out our coffee pot and it was just as beautiful. Host checked in with us throughout our stay. Ple
Highly recommend! We stayed here on our honeymoon. The locals were very friendly. There are various size rentals. We will definitely be making this our annual vacation!
Clean, updated easy parking with plenty of room. Just be careful driving up the hill with all the switchbacks. Would highly recommend this place.
