The Lakes at St. David RV Resort

Having just stayed a week at the Lakes in one of their delightful casitas, I highly recommend this place. Everyone was helpful and friendly. My casita had incredible views of the sunrises and sunsets. It was tastefully designed and had a full kitchen and big bathroom. The wifi was okay, but I wasn't using it very often. It was quiet and peaceful and all the RVers were friendly also. I felt very safe there too as a single traveler. Although I didn't use their laundry facility, I took a quick look and it was immaculate. There was a little store that had all the essentials for food and sundry items if you forgot something and didn't want to take a 10 minute drive to Benson. There were hiking trails available on the backside of their property but didn't have time to take due to other places I

Ok, I have resisted writing a review for a long time because I am selfish and don’t want too many people to know how wonderful it is. I come through every spring and fall and stay as long as I am able before I have to go back to work. Simply put “The Lakes” is a gem in the desert. Management, staff, trails, pool area, dog park and all of the other great amenities are all top notch. The property is clean and peaceful every time I come through, which is greatly appreciated. Now that I’ve spilled the beans I can only hope that there will always be room for me when I pass through each year!

We stayed at The Lakes at St David RV Resort for the month of December 2025. We were in a standard site which was big enough to hold our 27 foot travel trailer and truck. Overall we would highly recommend this resort. Management, staff and other residents were extremely friendly and welcoming. The park has clean and well-maintained laundry facilities, a work out area, a games area, a swimming pool, a hot tub, washrooms/showers and a main area for events. There are lots of events and scheduled activities for those that want to participate. While at the resort we attended a wellness session on healthy meals and a Christmas potluck. They also have regular yoga sessions (which we did not attend - but maybe next time). We originally chose this resort as there is lots to do in the area. W

The Lakes at Saint David is a truly magical destination. First it is beautiful. The property is spotless and covered in trees and water features. It is much cooler than Tucson and other areas in Arizona because of the higher altitude. The staff are always helpful and prompt in addressing any needs you may have. Tracy and Greg are the best management team Ive had the pleasure of meeting. They sincerely want their guests to feel at home and have a great experience, which I did. I will certainly go back again soon.

We stayed for a couple nights on our way to Phoenix. This was a great find and we're very glad we found it. Beautiful views from the hilltop. If I had one complaint, the sewer hookups didn't make much sense in several sites. We didn't mess with it because we were there such a short time. However, had we stayed longer, I felt we would need about 30' of hose or more to make it work. And I understand this wasn't an issue for every site, just thought I'd mention it. The landscaping was beautiful and the casitas looked adorable. Would definitely come back.
