The Inn at Herrington Harbour

I had a great experience today with the Inn's employee "Taylor". She was extremely professional but in the sweetest and most polite way. She was patient and I felt heard. I had misunderstood what promotion my reservation qualified for but in spite of that she kindly made an adjustment to my nightly rate making our 21st Anniversary stay at the Inn a bit more affordable. Thank you Taylor!! You were a pure delight to talk with! We've been going to this Inn nearly annually all the 21 years we've been together and it truly is like Maryland's best kept secret escape. This place is amazing. Quiet, great beach and pool and beautiful accommodations. We got the deluxe first floor and it was perfect. Ketch 22 was very good. Our only complaint was we wished the pool was open till Labor Day. We got one day in the pool and then then they didn’t open the rest of the week till 4.

We stayed for an overnight, and booked this accommodation since every hotel in the vicinity was full and we were there for a funeral. This is not a hotel, but a collection of individual rooms. If we'd really had time to explore, I'll bet the grounds are lovely and the views since it's right on the water. Unfortunately, we had a mixed experience. We arrived very late after a long day in the midst of a blizzard. Had I not called them to find out if their adjacent restaurant was still open in these conditions, I'm not sure I would have known their lobby closed at 8pm and I would have been emailed instructions for how to get into our room, which is the last thing I would have wanted to deal with after the day we'd had. Went in January mid week. Had the entire hotel to ourselves. Great romantic getaway spot to have quiet time in your own private hot tub. Walking distsnce to deli/market or short 5 min drive to more restaurants. Summertime this place must be packed with families enjoying the beach and water.

The Inn at Herrington Harbour was the perfect place to accommodate the bridal party and groomsmen for my daughter’s wedding. The rooms were lovely, the service was exceptional. The Inn was also responsible for hosting a pre wedding bonfire on the beach. I can’t recommend the resort highly enough.
