The Inn at Hennum’s Oak Island Lodge

Good fishing, tasty food, comfortable lodging, and a family-owned resort where all feel at home. We were warmly welcomed, and the folks made sure that we knew everything necessary to enjoy the lake, the fishing, and the abundant wildlife. Other guests, as well as the owner/operators, become friends in the comfortable lodge and around the dining tables. The pace is gentle, the fishing is excellent, and the setting is perfect north-woods. Getting to Angle Inn on Oak Island of Minnesota/Ontario's Lake of the Woods is an adventure, and experiencing the friendly resort is a delight.

Debra and Tony were wonderful hosts. I highly recommend staying at their lodge. I will always remember their hospitality and my stay there. I didn't catch anything but the guide did. Debra prepared the fish for dinner and it was delicious.

Wonderful accommodations and super home cooked meals at this intimate family operated resort. They'll help you find great walleye fishing and will set you up for a successful fishing vacation! We'll be back!

Have been to this resort twice winter ice fishing. Very accommodating with one exception. They clean your fish for you at the resort but do not give back the fish you caught. They give back fish from previous catches, different sizes than you caught. Disappointing.

Never left here without our limit! A family run operation that is great at what they do. Rooms are comfortable, food is great, excellent bar. Guide services are excellent. Will continue to return here each year!
