The Hotel Sturgis

Very good conversion from an old building. One of our rooms had windows, one didn’t. Love the loft layout. Rooms were very quiet. clean, well furnished; having a heater in the bathroom was fabulous! They let us look at a room to decide whether we wanted to stay there. Very easy friendly checking the coffee shop counter, particularly good cup of coffee as we got on the road in the morning.

By far the COOLEST, and cleanest hotel I’ve ever stayed in. Even the shower head was clean! It felt so homey, and cozy. I’d definitely come stay here again! Staff was super friendly, the coffee was fantastic. 10/10 would recommend.

This is a great little boutique hotel with a great history. Right in middle of town, would be great during the Rally. Staff was very accommodating and helpful. Our rooms had lofts with an extra bed. Very clean. Parking close. What gave it a 4 was noise. Our rooms were right near the associated coffee shop. After hours the cleaners, or whoever, made lots of noise. My wife said she heard folks walking by outside as well (this was not during the Rally). I would stay here again, but request a room towards the back. A plus was the stack of towels by the back door for cleaning one‘s bike. Nice touch!

We stayed 2 days . Our room was amazing and the beds are the best beds in all the hotels I stayed in. Comfortable and smelled so clean. The only downside to our room was no windows. Loved the room but couldn’t tell if it was day or night. Customer service was amazing, those girls were the best. I can’t stress how much you will enjoy your stay.

Booking Process We booked a room through Expedia and the first option was a room with no window.($18 with our Expedia credit) we chose the next room which was $40 with a City view. The room was amazing but the City View apparently is a window 10’ up, so I couldn’t tell you what the view was. When I asked staff if we had the City Viiew they said no and used the excuse that not all the details come through using booking sites. Checkin We were arriving around 9pm. We were surprised when the hotel called to find out when we would be coming because the lobby closes at 7 and we had to go to the bar across the street to get out room key. When we arrived the bar didn’t have the key but it wasn’t a big deal. He took us to the hotel and got us set up. Room The room was great, minus the window sit
