The Hotel Maria

Our family stayed Valentine’s Day weekend at The Hotel Maria to visit our son based close by. Patrick went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable and memorable. The accommodations were more than perfect, and all the staff were friendly and helpful. I’ve never stayed at a hotel like this where they treated you like family without intruding on your space. We had a great time. I would recommend The Hotel Maria to anyone!

Hotel Maria completely blew us away—truly one of the best hotel experiences we’ve ever had. From the moment we arrived, the staff was warm, attentive, and incredibly accommodating. Every detail was thoughtfully handled, from the fresh fruit cups and yogurt to the cappuccino and latte station, beach snacks, water bottles, and even spin dresses! It was above and beyond anything we expected.||The hotel restaurant was equally outstanding. We had the chicken Parmesan and the most massive, delicious meatballs I’ve ever seen—my son was thrilled. My husband enjoyed the swordfish, and my daughter’s salmon was perfectly cooked. The Hotel Maria provided an excellent August weekend getaway featuring pristine rooms, a solid dining experience, and friendly service. The trip exceeded all expectations. My wife--better traveled than I--felt the hotel offered a very "European" experience which seems to translate as an exceptionally clean establishment, pleasant common areas, and an airy feel to the environment (obviously suitable for a beach resort). The people working at The Hotel Maria seem to be happy and are all engaging. The hotel is across-the-street from the beach (the road wasn't busy and cars were slow) and you can obtain chairs, umbrellas, and towels. The beach itself is somewhat private but does get busy (somewhat private meaning its not gated/people could wander onto it) but not rowdy. We enjoyed dining--o

My parents took an anniversary trip here for two years in a row and raved about the rooms, beaches, and food. They loved the attention to detail and friendliness of the staff. Recently my mother passed away and I had to call to cancel her reservation for next year, the gentlemen I spoke with remembered her name and offered the sincerest condolences in the wave of phone calls needed to make after someone passing away. They found the obituary and wrote a memory of talking to my mom and mutual warmth they had for each other. This human connection has been an anchor for me in my grief. In an age where it feels like all businesses are huge and disconnected, I will forever remember their kindness towards me and the appreciation for their facilities giving my parents one of their last great vacat

My daughter and I had the pleasure of staying at The Hotel Maria this past week. She was there for her first 1/2 marathon. The hotel was perfect, our room was nicely appointed and comfortable. Not many hotels provide water and chocolates each evening, this was one of the many added touches. The staff was kind and accommodating. Wish I could remember all the names, but a huge shout out to Sebastian, Christine and Patrick. They made our stay fun and memorable. Thanks!!
