The Hotel Landing

I wish words could truly express how thankful I am for the entire team who helped make our stay such a positive experience. I was in town for a funeral, and what could have been a very stressful situation was handled so seamlessly and with so much care by everyone at the hotel. The type of service and kindness received is not something you see every day. It was truly a blessing. The rooms were perfect, very clean, the bed was comfortable, the view was relaxing, and the room was quiet. There was a wide variety of food at the restaurant. While the first-floor restaurant is currently under construction, the one upstairs offered a wide variety of options, even options for the pickiest eaters in the family. We had planned to stay at the Hotel Landing; however, our flight was delayed to such an extent that we would not have arrived until the following day. We were traveling to attend a family member’s funeral, and given my mother’s age and fragile health, this disruption added significant strain to an already difficult situation.||I made multiple attempts to speak with a manager to request a refund, as the total cost of $1,849 for three guests over two nights is substantial. Despite leaving numerous messages, I did not receive a return call. Additionally, the booking agency I worked through sent several emails to hotel management on my behalf, none of which were acknowledged.||The lack of communication and support has been deeply disappointing. I had a reservation at the hotel landing this weekend but couldn’t make it due to the east coast storms. It was booked through a third party without a refund policy, Lillian the front desk manager was extremely understanding of the situation. The third party was able to quickly connect and secure a refund. I was extremely surprised and happy with the quality service. Hopefully I will be able to reschedule and stay here!

Positive: The staff were amazing. The sent a text to check in and see how the room was and I was able to use that number to communicate with them as needed. There was a dog barking down the hall and they were able to contact the owner and rectify this very quickly Negative: ""

The hotel itself is very nice, but beware of any "pet packages." We purchased the "Pamper Your Pet" package for $150 and received 2 dog bowls (just...to use; nothing in them), a dog bed, 3 dog treats, and a Hotel Landing-branded t-shirt for our dog (they only had 1 size and it was way too small for our dog). The dog treats and silly t-shirt were ours to keep; everything else was just for use during our stay. So...not sure what the $150 was for. Needless to say, we felt pretty ripped off.
