The Hotel at Sunland Park Racetrack & Casino/West El Paso

We didn't stay in the hotel. We stayed at the RV park. It was great, right next to the race track where you could watch the horses work out. One of the trainers stopped with his horse and said hello over the fence. The hotel does look exceptional. It also has a great view of the track. The track is gorgeous with the beautiful mountains in the background.

We went to see my sons at the track and the hotel was super convenient for that. The room was quite and clean and the view of the track from our room was great! ||I do wish there had been a continental breakfast, but hot coffee in the lobby was nice.

Shortening my review due to Trip Advisor app instability. Overnight stay:||Parking - Plenty of parking, well lit lot adjacent to even more casino parking. Felt safe during late evening check-in.||Check-in/out and service - prompt, though given a room that was already occupied. No other issues. ||Room - Room is starting to show some wear but all amenities and fixtures worked. Plenty of space and very clean.||Sleep - Room was quiet, bed was comfortable, slept well.||Overall - Very good stay. Will definitely return.

Overall, the hotel is nice, clean, and comfortable, and the front desk staff was consistently friendly and helpful.||||That said, we did have a maintenance issue in our room that we reported three separate times during our stay, and it was never fixed. It wasn’t a deal-breaker, but it definitely took away from the experience and could’ve been handled better.||||With better follow-through on maintenance requests, this place could easily be great.

This hotel rooms were very nice. It's right next to the horse racetrack . The casino(which is in walking distance) has a restaurant and lounge. Good food and music. Very reasonable prices.😊
