We stayed 3 nights at this overpriced hotel. It's $450 per night. The restaurant is closed. The bar recently reopened after a change in ownership. None of the safes in any of the rooms work (as per the manager when we reported that ours did not work.) We found a woodlouse crawling in the bathroom. (We are not entomologists....just took a close-up photo and did a Google Lens search.) There is no housekeeping service unless you specifically request it. If you want new towels you must take your used towels to the front desk and ask for new ones. The shampoo, conditioner, and lotion bottles are 1.5 inch high and you get one of each per room unless you go to the front desk and request more. A modest breakfast is included but the Keurig machines in the lobby do not work (neither did the one in o

The hotel is clean enough, & the limited staff they have are good people who do what they can. However, the bar/restaurant inside is closed. They screwed up our reservation and we were stuck with a single bed room instead of 2 queens. The hotel itself is dated and aging, but the rooms were clean and the bathroom had a fresh renovation at least. Likely would not return here. It's good value for the price at least.

Nostalgic. Loved that these rooms weren't like every major commercial brand in every city. Staying here was fun. The historic, walkable street made it fun to get out and explore. Some great local resturants to help support the local businesses who really maintain a nostalgic feel. The staff was lovely. The room was immaculate. Simple with a few little treats like the natural light from the frosted window in the washroom. The tiled floor reminded me of way back when! The towels were nice and fluffy. Just a real treat to stay a few nights in a historic building right on Falls Street in Seneca Falls.

Traveling for work. I don’t usually write reviews but many negative reviews about this hotel, I think some more level evaluation is needed. More character and charm than a big hotel chain. Very quiet, no complaints on cleanliness, staff interactions, or any other concerns. Pleasantly surprised for a small town amenity. If you want generic and predictable service like fast food, find a big hotel chain. I’m very picky about hotel showers, I travel a lot. Pressure and spread of shower as well as enclosure are above average-good. Not a luxury bathroom, but nicer than most chain hotels under twice the price. Not musty, not dirty, heat works. Hot breakfast, microwave & fridge not included, but a good nights rest is. If you need lodging right in the heart of this quaint town, and don’t

If feels like this property is going to close. When we checked in this past weekend, we were told the restaurant was closed, which was the main reason I booked this hotel. There was no ice machine, had to ask the person at the front desk for that, when were lucky enough to find someone there. We stayed there for two nights and only found someone at the front desk, or even working in the whole hotel for that matter, only twice. No one was even there when we checked out, so we just left the keys in the box on the desk. The room was ok, but the shower was odd. Only half of it was enclosed, so water got on the floor and the steam and heat didn't stay in the shower. Seems like the modern design of the shower was not practical. There was no room cleaning unless you specifically requested it, so
