The Hill House Bed and Breakfast - Bourbon Trail

The Hill House Bed and Breakfast is a wonderful place to stay while exploring the Bourbon Trail. The home is beautifully maintained, full of charm and character, and offers a peaceful, welcoming atmosphere that instantly makes you feel at home. The rooms are clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully decorated, blending historic charm with modern amenities. The beds are cozy, and everything is well cared for to ensure a relaxing stay.

This was a great experience. The hosts were so friendly and helpful. The food was delicious and with generous portions. The rooms were comfortable and the living room with the fireplace was very delightful. It is also convenient to Marker's Mark and about a 25 minute drive to Bardstown. I highly recommend this for your lodging option.

This was one of the best stays we’ve had on the entire bourbon trail! Spacious, clean and comfortable rooms with all the amenities you’d need. The hosts could not be any nicer or accommodating and they were attentive to our dietary restrictions which was so appreciated. Breakfast was delicious every morning and they always have coffee, tea, and small snacks available. Large common areas make it great to get to know other guests, but rooms are also very quiet so you don’t hear others at night. Absolutely would stay here again!

The owners were very kind and both incredibly attentive and non-invasive. Impeccably clean, very nice common areas and generally comfortable. Very close to Maker's Mark for a cheap uber if you sample too much. Breakfast was included and they really take pride in making sure the food is good and everyone enjoys their stay.

My wife and I booked a trip to Maker's Mark and I selected Hill House Bed and Breakfast because of the location to the distillery. Jim and Cheryl, the hosts, are kind, down to earth folks with a wonderful cat named Cooper.||The house is welcoming, clean and inviting. The fridge was full of waters, there's an ice machine on premise and a Kuerig for post-breakfast coffee.||We stayed in the Magnolia room. It was one of the comfiest beds I've slept in.||When Cheryl showed us theenu, my wife mentioned I was a diabetic, which I did not disclose. Cheryl changed the menu to fit my dietary needs. She made us a delicious ham and cheese souffle with a side of scrambled eggs and maple chicken sausage.||My wife and I very much recommend folks stay at Hill House.
