The Hammock House at Rock Springs

We had an amazing girls' weekend getaway! The barn was absolutely wonderful, and we loved being able to bring our horses. The trail riding was fantastic—scenic and peaceful, with so much to explore. The house was spacious, cozy, and perfect for unwinding after a long day of riding. It had a big, inviting feel, and we had plenty of room to relax. The outdoor space was beautiful, and we enjoyed spotting lots of wildlife. It was the perfect retreat for both adventure and relaxation. Highly recommend!

The Hammock house is a beautiful and unique place to get away from it all and immerse yourself in Florida’s natural beauty and history. The property perfectly accommodates both horses and humans with enough space for everyone to spread out and storage for tack, feed, and trailers. And once you’re here, the trails are right at your doorstep. Arden and the entire staff are friendly, accommodating, and have a vast amount of local knowledge to help make your stay top notch. All around this was the perfect place for our retreat and we look forward to rebooking next year.

This house provided the most relaxing vacation I’ve had in a long time. Hosts were so helpful and truly cared about making sure everyone’s experience was top tier. The best part was I could bring my horse! My horse hasn’t traveled anywhere in 4 years and he felt right at home. So that should tell you something!

The Hammock House offers such a unique experience in the state park setting! I’ve stayed in many places across the country and this by far is one of my favorites! The peaceful remote setting the wildlife the Florida black bears the river and low hanging oaks! It’s such an amazing experience to stay there! Definitely recommend it to anyone one who enjoys the outdoors!

What an amazing place to spend time with family and friends. The natural beauty and historic nature of this home is the perfect place to relax. We stayed here with friends and it had the perfect space for fun dinners and cozy chats by the fire. We are absolutely planning on going back and bringing the family. I also can not wait to paddle this river next time
