The Groton Inn

My husband and I got married here in July and it was amazing! It was an intimate wedding (about 35 people) and it was hosted in the conservatory. Eleanor was the BEST wedding coordinator we have ever met. She sold us on the venue earlier this year during our tour and was so attentive to what we wanted and was on top of everything. Eleanor made sure everything ran smoothly and on time the day of the wedding, and we got so many compliments from our guests. The food is amazing and prices are on the more reasonable side for a wedding. I would recommend the Groton inn and Eleanor to anyone hosting a wedding. My one critique is that we had 2 signature drinks (the “Ace” and the “Malika”) and the bar staff seemed very confused on what drinks they were making. Otherwise it was a great night!

My husband and I had a room block at The Groton Inn for our wedding at The Barn at Gibbet Hill last weekend. The location could not be more ideal as it is just a minute drive down the road. From the very beginning, The Groton Inn was so accommodating and helpful. They let us have a tour about two years before our wedding date to make sure if was the right hotel for us, and we instantly knew it was. The Inn is so charming - especially in the fall and looks like a hallmark movie. The staff, especially Bethanie, was so incredibly patient with us as we set up the room block and planned an after party there for after the wedding. I have endless emails with Bethanie and she always responded so kindly and eager to help. I never felt I was a bother or asking a silly question. The rooms themselves

I had my bridal shower in The Prescott Room at The Groton Inn, and it was absolutely perfect! The space was beautiful, and the atmosphere made for such a lovely and joyous day. The wait staff were incredibly professional, attentive, and kind. The food — prepared by Forge & Vine — was outstanding! I’m still getting compliments from guests about how delicious everything was! I would highly recommend The Groton Inn to anyone looking for the perfect place to host a bridal shower or special event!

We had the best time at The Groton Inn! This was our first time staying in Groton and the Inn is so warm and inviting. Checking in was efficient and staff were pleasant and knowledgeable. Our room was an Endicott Deluxe King and was so spacious and beautifully appointed with all needed amenities and the views were lovely. We sat out on the front porch for a bit and enjoyed the vibe in this charming town. We were celebrating a big anniversary and we had the best dinner at Forge and Vine We opted to sit outside which was perfection. We could engage in quiet conversation and enjoyed watching the cows moving about on the hills. We had delicious jumbo shrimp appetizers and my husband really enjoyed his NA |blackberry mojito. Wonderful place to stay! We attended a wedding here and stayed overnight. The rooms are cozy and modern, including heated tile floor in the bathroom and USB outlets on the bedside. The breakfast (photos attached) was also very tasty and had a lot of variety for a continental offering. All the staff were very kind and helped with any question.
