The Grafton Inn

Definitely talk with Mike before arriving. The hotel has a beautiful exterior. The bed was extremely comfortable. There is no "front desk", you can feel the age of the room, the TV took some tinkering to get it working, and BRING YOUR EARPLUGS the church bells across the street ring out the hour.

Worst place on earth!!! If you like mold then this is your place!!! Mold all over air conditioner, running down wall and on carpet. Don’t ever send family or friends to this hotel. Lock box to get your key, our key was missing from lock box and no staff on premises t tell us what to do. no security. Your door could be kicked in and no one would hear you screaming for help. No black out curtains so the bright street light shine in windows, loud street traffic all night long. When you call them to complain they don’t answer phone and then they ghost you. Impossible to get a refund. It’s not good if you have problems with allergies.

Place has been condemned. I have reservations. See the picture. They took our money though. Place has been abandoned. Can’t believe this is happening.

We stayed at the Grafton Inn for a wedding weekend that was held there. We experienced the hospitality of the entire staff for breakfast, lunch, and dinner multiple times and at each time, the staff was amazing and the food was delicious. From the welcoming hostess, to the lively bartender, and the ever present with a smile wait staff who took care of our every need (especially Sara and Lisa!), we enjoyed all of our interactions that they served up for us. The variety of food we enjoyed at the Phelps Barn and the Tavern was unique, delicious, and always on point. The chefs and cook staff should be commended for their skills not only on the exceptional food they prepared but the speed and manner in which they provided it. I was very surprised to learn that the bar was in the process of being gutted and the building was not staffed. It was definitely a little weird grabbing the key out of the lock box but the room was clean enough and came with a mini fridge. Thoughtful coffee station directly outside room. For the price over the holiday it was fine.
