The George Manhattan, Tapestry Collection by Hilton

This is a fabulous newly-built property located super close to Columbia, and very convenient to the 125th street station subway lines to get you anywhere else you need to be. We stayed during a frigid cold weekend and the convenience to the trains was really nice. The rooms are very spacious and well equipped (could use some lotion in the bathoom). Modern in design with a breakfast / bar area in the lobby and on the second floor, a semi-private area to gather. The fitness space is adequate with a few treadmills and Peloton, free weights and a few mats. There is a beautiful outdoor event space that I hope to appreciate in warmer weather. The staff were personable and responsive. Definitely recommend!

My stay at the George was short but sweet. All of the staff members were super friendly. Jandell the bellman helped me with getting my things to my room and he was super friendly. The front desk manager was also very friendly and helpful with answering my questions about things in the area. At the time of my stay the restaurant was not open yet but there were dining options nearby. The pool was not ready either but it is scheduled to be open in a few months. The hotel has lots of spaces for you to gather or work which I thought was nice. It is minutes away from the subway making it very convenient. They have various rooms and I would suggest doing an upgrade as the space difference is significant when you upgrade (and worth the extra money in my opinion). The hotel also has various options

The George hotel was very nice. Brand new, clean, all the tech things you would expect. I would rate it 4.6. The people working were nice. There is a bar and coffee. There is not a restaurant on site. Was only there briefly, but we walked a few blocks to go to a nice Italian restaurant for dinner. The neighborhood seems pretty safe.

We stayed here for several days and were very pleased with our choice. The hotel turned out to be even better than expected. The room was bright, spacious, and very clean, with daily, tidy housekeeping. The bed was comfortable, the linens were fresh — we slept wonderfully. I especially want to highlight the staff: incredibly friendly and attentive, always ready to help, suggest routes, or solve any question quickly. You can truly feel their genuine care for the guests. Overall, an outstanding experience. A perfect combination of comfort, service, and atmosphere. I highly recommend it and would be happy to stay here again!

The rooms were lovely, VERY clean, and as quiet as anyone can ever get in NYC!!! The price was absolutely amazing, I won't be staying anywhere else when I come to NYC in the future. It's right off the C line from Penn Station, so I could take the subway from there after taking the Amtrak into the city. Emmanuel at the little coffee bar in the hotel was a lifesaver and made delicious lattes and was so kind to my family and young nephew. The entire staff was magnificent - genuinely the highlight of the stay, including the valet folks connected to the hotel. Ildris (spelling?) at the front desk made a long-term stay comfortable and went above and beyond to help us. Additionally, there are loads of food options around, Sipsteria was my favorite for a cafe and Charles Pan Fried Chicken holds
