The Freeport Inn and Marina

It's a cozy little Motel. Price-wise what kind of on the high side for the quality of the room. But I also stayed there during the off-season aka the winter. So the attached restaurant was closed for the season. If the prices now are the same when the restaurant is open then I would say it's a good deal. But while the restaurant is closed its kind of on the high side price wise. Especially on the weekends where is the price is 50 to $60 higher per room per night.. but overall it was a decent stay the staff is friendly parking lot is well lit and clean pretty well despite the recent snow storm. Definitely would revisit. A very curious about staying there while the restaurant is open

Only a few rooms actually have a waterfront view. The vast majority overlook parking lots. |Pros:|They’ve made efforts to upgrade. Paint. New furniture. Large walk-in shower. LVP floors easy to clean. |Overall relatively clean. |Cons:|No closet, just a hangar in the bathroom!|Noisy a/c unit. ||Really nothing else in the area even close to this price.

Positive: The location was good for our visit as we were going to northwell Amphitheater. However nothing about it was good the room the floors the bed nothing good at all for the amount paid. A crack pipe was found in the bathroom Negative: There was nothing on I like that all other than the location. You could tell that they were trying to upgrade the hotel but did a really poor job

I've stayed there twice for a week each time. I used to live in the area. Moved out of state. This is where I stay when I come visit. Location is perfect for me. Stores, restaurants and car rental. The times there, there were arguments on the weekends. I expected that. The only downfall for me was there is no coffee pot, or microwave in the rooms. You have to go to lobby. The money they charge, those amenities should be available.

First off, this place looks nothing - and I mean nothing - like it does in the photos. We wete in town to see a show and we ended up here because as Jones Brach is a state park, this was the closest hotel to the beach and venue. There are no oceanfront properties or retail. This motel is a 10 minute drive to the beach and amphitheatre. After our initial, woeful dissapointment upon arriving, we found our room was clean, with an enormous shower. No microwave or a box kleenex provided or restaurant. A/C worked well. Plenty of TV channels. Don't hang around here, though. The town of Freeport is seedy and unsafe. You'll have to drive down Merrick into Massaoequa or Wantagh to find any kind of food options and any strip mall shopping. After reading other reviews of this place, I think we sho
