The Farmstead Hotel

We got a room with an adjoining door. And, even though it was a Sunday night (not crowded) they put someone next to us. We could hear EVERYTHING. I did not sleep until THEY fell asleep.|I paid $119.44 for a Sunday and I don't think I got my money's worth. |Positives are it had a glass shower. Beautiful light fixtures.|Negatives. Faced a parking lot. Toilet hard to flush.|The casino was a bad experience. Hard to win anything. I feel this happens when casinos don't have nearby competition. The ticket redemption machine was out of paper. And I had a problem with my machine and had to get someone even though my machine light was on. --Long wait. Excellent, Helpful & Friendly Customer Service at the desk... rooms are VERY small. (Queen bed room) - frig almost hit the bed barely can fit anything in it because the bed stopped the door... no microwave... no K-cup coffee maker (and can't bring one - amps won't allow it... hardly any water pressure at all & could not get into the tv because there was a password it wanted. We asked at the desk and were told it could be 0000 but it also could be anything a previous guest made it... well, we never did guess it right & was a crappy explanation / solution (that wasn't a solution.) Convenient right next to the casino (across from) and the "deal" for a casino card member was about $20 difference but room not worth that in my opinion let alone full price. I would give this place 0 stars if possible. Room clearly hadn't been vacuumed and there were several hairs in the shower. This was just the tip of the iceberg however. Signage clearly indicated quite time at 10PM however this doesn't seem to mean a thing to the useless staff. Hooping and hollering all hours of the night and then at 2am I was awaken to someone blasting music outside the hotel. I would recommend staying ANYWHERE but here.

Drove several hours and just needed a rest and dinner, we can finish travel the next day. We were drawn into a hotel and casino right off the interstate. Thought this could be fun. The casino hotel would've costed the two of us $300+ just for one night. The Farmstead is right next door, possibly owned by the casino for those cheaper customers. It was under $100. Fair enough, just need to sleep and continue on. Dinner options available in the casino bar and grill. Small room but clean. Beds were comfortable. Someone mentioned in a review about a chair with a spot, I think we got it. I just layed a towel over it so I could set my bag in the chair. Shower was clean but does have the half glass like I read in a review. They definitely need more there to keep the floor from getting soaked. Also

We were booked for one night here, looked solid based on reviews and website. When we got there, the lady at the front desk said, “you aren’t staying here. Go check in across the street” I asked what she meant and showed her my reservation but she insisted that we were now staying AT the casino across the street. Great. I didn’t book a casino. I booked the farmstead hotel. Now I’m stuck in the “upgrade” room in a casino. The parking lot is WAY further away from my room than the hotel I had initially booked, It smells like cigarettes, the floor is sticky, and the coffee maker doesn’t work. Definitely not doing this again.
