The Edgefield Inn

Worse hotel in life, I don't even want to give them one star. I stayed at the Edgefield Quality Inn for a funeral 06/16/23-06/18/23. My hotel experience was horrible. The hotel staff that checked me in named, Melia Patel, was very rude. The rooms were dirty with hair and bugs around the room. The first room I stayed in, the a/c wasn't working good enough to cool down the rooms. I have a toddler child and didn't want him getting over heated during the stay. I went to the front desk and she put us in a different room. After placing me in the room I saw there was a couch that my older son could sleep on so I didn't have to share a bed. I went to ask for extra sheets. She then saw that she made a mistake and didn't see that It was an extra charge for the new room. She stated she had

If your looking for a very quiet peaceful and clean place to stay during your vacation, the Edgefield Inn is the place for you. The staff is extremely nice and courteous. They are happy to accommodate in every way that they can. The rooms are super clean and updated. There is no outside noise or distractions. It's just an all round great place to spend a nice and quiet relaxing weekend. I recommend to anyone, young and old.

Trashy rooms, toilet wouldn't flush when we got there (some random person's remains were still in the toilet) front desk was VERY rude. He has a thick accent which made it hard to understand him, which normally I don't mind but when I asked him to repeat himself he would raise his voice and roll his eyes. Beds are extremely stiff, Morning breakfast literally ends at 9 am 😐. This place is a joke of you ask me.

Room was filthy. Crusty something on microwave and tv. Light bulbs missing, bathroom door does Not lock. Changed rooms due to excessive dust - not from remodel. Beds are suspect in new room and bathroom does not lock, have proper fixtures and tub holds water during a shower. Also, no towels - had to ask for those. Room door sticks and has a trick to use. Rear access door locks you out because key reader not working. I like the staff tho, they are friendly and as helpful as possible. I hope after they finish the renovation it will be much better and I can try again, but otherwise I'll be staying somewhere else next time.

Stop was friendly and I knew they just recently redid it because it's changed hands. The room that we had was nasty. The whole room smells like pee the bathroom even worse like urine headset there and soaked for weeks and would not clean out of the tile. The bathtub was dirty and the bedding had stains on them. Never again. Especially not for $77
