Doing things online only was a bit different for me. But I’m glad I booked that room. It was peaceful and beautiful. Really well laid out and very nice construction. I’ve stayed at a lot of nice hotels and this is in my top 5.
We had a fantastic stay at The DeFord this weekend! We're so excited that Ottawa finally has such a stylish and comfortable place to stay. Unlike traditional hotels, this is a self-service experience (similar to an Airbnb), and we found the check-in and check-out process to be seamless, with clear instructions sent via text ahead of our arrival. The room and common areas were immaculate and beautifully decorated, featuring high ceilings and stunning architectural details. We stayed in a standard room, which was peaceful, cozy, and well-equipped with everything we needed, including a Keurig and a quality mini-fridge. The King-sized bed was incredibly comfortable too. We've already booked our next stay for a wedding this summer!
Such a beautiful building in a cute little town. Our trip was quick but we hope to return to the area and will definitely look to stay here again!
