The Cottages at Spofford Lake

My stay in the “Honeymoon Cottage” at The Cottages of Spofford Lake was wonderful. The cabin was nicely decorated, completely updated, exceptionally clean, and had everything I needed for my 4-night visit. The beautiful lake view and charming cottage were exactly what I was hoping for when I booked my trip. | |Several of the privately owned cottages within the colony are available to rent. The “Honeymoon Cottage” had a very comfortable double bed, futon/sofa, table with 2 chairs, TV/WiFi, and a direct view of the lake. The updated kitchen had an induction stovetop, small frig, microwave, and Keurig carafe/K-cup combo. I didn’t cook, but dishes, pots and pans, and utensils were available. Our family rented two cottages the Farmhouse and the Parsonage. They were both very clean and were well appointed. Grills were placed near all the cottages for easy meal prep. The beach was well maintained had a large box with tons of beach toys which my grandson enjoyed playing with. He also enjoyed the kid kayak. Used additional kayaks for a visit to the island. We certainly enjoyed our week. It flew by!

My brother and I enjoyed our stay at the Spofford cottages. The room was clean, access with code and no key was easy. Heat on the cold nights was welcome. Towels, shampoo, body wash provided. Thank you!

We absolutely LOVE the cottages. The honeymoon cottage seemed to be recently renovated. It was so beautiful. I loved all the little touches, from the map of the lake on the wall to the scrabble letters spelling Welcome to the Cottages. The cottage was pristine and my last minutes requests were responded to quickly which I appreciated. This was our second time visiting but most definitely not our last.

I always enjoy staying at the Cottages at Spofford Lake. The rooms are clean and the process to check-in and out is so efficient. The cabin and environment is peaceful. It is a perfect place to get away and refresh.
