The Corning Hotel

I had an unexpected layover and spent the night at the Corning Hotel, the young man at the front desk was very friendly and knowledgeable, the accommodations were excellent, loved the pillows! I hope my next unexpected layover is just as pleasant! Also, I should note that the young ladies at front desk were very friendly as well!

Corning Hotel was a great place to stay. It was clean and smelled great too. Looks like they just remodeled. |The staff were so kind and helpful! I interacted with 3 different individuals and they were very helpful, personable and went out of their way to do their best to help. No complaining or negative, short responses. (We found this common for the people in the town also). |The bathrooms have great soaps in the shower. There were lots of hangers for the towels. (This is something that is hard to find when we normally stay at hotels or VRBO’s.)|The race track and Primrose were highlights of the trip. Primrose is high end dinning with reasonable prices for the amazing quality, quantity, and variety of food. Very fresh. A must try.

On a cold night, after having driven much too long, we came upon The Corning Hotel. Legs cramping getting out of the SUV, we see the evening manager has opened the door for us so we could enter. He found us a room close to parking. And our dog was welcomed. This young man is going far. He was exactly what we needed. Thank you. The room was welcoming and spotless. All the amenities were provided. My husband entered the room, laid down, and nodded off. We will be back, as we travel this way frequently. I highly recommend The Corning Hotel. (For reference, I am a former lodging facility manager and inspector.)

Went to the lake to find a cabin and found a room instead. Rooms were clean lobby was clean, breakfast was waffles and yogurt. Guest services was amazing very informative at the front desk in pointing out the local markets and venues. Would stay here again when coming to the lakes.

I have spent a lot of time here this year (2025), as I travel through the area for work. Management is amazing, the entire staff is kind and attentive. Everyone from the front desk to housekeeping were accommodating and understanding every time I needed their assistance.
