The Comfort Zone RV Park

This park was built in the 40s and there are only a few sites. Most spots are taken up by monthly renters. The owner was very nice and showed us to our site. There are trees to block the wind and about half the area is grass. Hookups are old but usable. This was a nice quiet and friendly park for an overnight stay.

Wonderful customer service. The location is super convenient, right off i20. The surroundings have lovely rustic charm. Cannot beat the $25 rate for a pull thru, 30 amp, water, sewer, free wifi, free showers, coin op laundry and did I say great service? We got a personal escort to our site. Great little place that isnt for the pretentious, but should be good for most.

Don’t believe what’s posted. Nobody was even available at checkin in April 2023. Power issues at post. Run down grounds with busted up vehicles on property. Broken windows and plenty of praire dogs waiting to eat your electrical wires in vehicle. Showers and are literally to die for and laundry facility area I would swear looked haunted

This park has the best trees for shade. The people in charge, Richard and Ronnie,are down to earth and are very accommodating. Very friendly. They have a mechanic shop amd will help you get back on the road if your vehicle needs repairs. Working man's auto

It was heartening to know this place is Under New Management as it has gone to seed for surface preparation, growth of goat head Nettles, and maintenance of the older trees. But the Price Is Right. $18 for a full hookup at 50 amp (senior rate) and the gentleman who is now running the place made specific effort to look us up in the evening and make sure we had everything we needed.
