The Clocktower Hotel Latham - North Albany, an Ascend Collection Hotel

We had a great six-day stay. Everyone on the staff was cordial and responsive to our needs. The beds were comfortable. The coffee pot and other drinks in the lobby were always fresh and available. The breakfasts were more than ample and enjoyable. We especially enjoyed the afternoon cookies and brownies. We hope to stay there again.

This hotel is perfection in every way. Convenient and abundant parking to start. Large lobby welcoming you with fresh cookies and drink assortment. Friendly quick attendants ready to help. The layout is very easy. Large dining area to the right, pool and fitness close to the elevators. The hotel and rooms are meticulous. The rooms are spacious and well equipped. The complemantry breakfast buffet is fresh and fantastic. You will not only not find a better value, you will not find a nicer hotel.

Love it! I booked this hotel completely relying on reviews, and I'm glad that everything was as most people said. Room and bathroom was clean clean! Staff was really friendly and the breakfast, I only had it one morning out of my few days, and it was soo tasty. Highly recommend!

My husband and I arrived this morning at approximately 2 AM (2/21/26) without prior reservations, hoping to find available rooms. We were warmly welcomed by a gentleman at the front desk, who was exceptionally hospitable and completed our transaction within 15 minutes of our arrival. He offered us hot chocolate and tea, and provided details about the complimentary breakfast, gym, and pool available the following morning. The next morning, another gentleman at the front desk greeted us as we entered the breakfast area. In the breakfast area, we were even more delighted to meet the gentleman who worked there. He frequently checked in with us to ensure we were enjoying our meal, which we certainly did! The hotel room was also very clean and conveniently located on the first floor for easy acc

Had a great stay here. Management was very helpful. Room was impeccably clean and comfortable. Even the breakfast, which is usually terrible at most hotels, was great. Highly recommend if you’re in the area.
