Customer Reviews
Lots of parking for trailers and large setups. Great atmosphere. The restaurant inside is beautiful with a fireplace and plenty of seating. The service was friendly and attentive. I appreciate that they used raw green beans, not canned. Prices are super reasonable and there is a full bar.
We were looking for an interesting place to fly. Landing at Christmas Valley, Oregon, we walked about 300 yards from the airport to the Christmas Valley Lodge. Located inside a 1950's A-frame overlooking the lake and golf course, the recently updated restaurant had a nice menu and welcoming staff. My Bleu cheese bacon burger was tasty, large and well prepared. It was obvious that this is a community favorite, as a variety of local patrons arrived for lunch. This isolated community is undergoing a revival, and we hope the Lodge is an indication of their success.
I’ve never been to a place this calm—what a sight to see. The drive was awesome, with only six vehicles along my five-hour trip. Be mindful of fuel, as this was the only gas station heading toward Grants Pass, Oregon. The gas I got was good and surprisingly cheap. For some reason, it gave my truck better mileage. It happens.
The ham and eggs breakfast was delicious AND they have orange marmalade...YUM!!! Our pistol packing waitress was great! We'll definitely be back.
Not what we were expecting...after a long ride and checking in to the hotel nearby, it was time to eat. The Lodge being the only place to eat within walking distance, we went. With appetites bigger than our eyes and on the cusp of a deep, seemingly unquenchable primal hanger we were quickly seated by a pleasant young lady who asked us what we would like to drink just as our tender hineys touched down on the welcoming booth seats. The menu was full of much needed protein options. Probably salad but honestly wasn't in the mood. Very generous portions that induced some more than welcome meat sweats. And good. Not just good, very good. Everything was fresh and thoughtfully arranged on the plate. No joke. Felt like I was 8 years old and eating my grandma's food (without neglecting the lovely gr
