The Brookview Manor Inn and Restaurant

AVOID THIS DISASTROUS PLACE AT ALL COSTS! During our stay, we have not seen the owner, housekeeper, or anyone who works at the Inn at all, in any way, shape, or form whatsoever - including at checkin and checkout. In fact, they instituted a “contactless” check-in and check-out where a code is texted to your phone to access the room. We are unsure why anyone would choose to work in the hospitality industry if they are so keen on avoiding any contact with their guests. It made the experience feel cold, impersonal, and frankly eerie, as if we checked into a haunted house. Usually, the best part of staying in a bed and breakfast is the breakfast. I stayed here in July 2025 and it was fabulous with the new owner! Full breakfast, nice rooms and fun board games! No one was ever at the front desk which was fine because there was a number to call a woman named Lisa who lived on the property if there were any problems and she was very attentive! She was also the cook who made breakfast every morning. Switch to January 2026, **HORRIBLE AVOID AT ALL COSTS!** I have been here for two nights now and have not seen one staff member. No one is on the property. The “continental breakfast” provided is a joke! The toaster oven isn’t even plugged in. Another issue was my shower was not working and I called the numbers provided at the front desk. No one answered my calls for over an hour. My wife and I have been going there for many years. Marty and Gale were the best. Wonderful breakfast and beautiful people. They put their heart and sole in that place and it showed. New owners now. Horrible. No one there to greet you and tend to your needs. The Manor was over ran by unruly guests that left a trail of garbage and bottles everywhere. There was suppose to be a continental breakfast. Instead there was no inn keepers and garbage and bottles everywhere and the kitchen was a mess. We stayed in the Carage house and woke up to no heat. There was an electric heater but once plugged in it shut off all the electricity in the room. I was woken up at2:45 by someone alarm and again at 5:10 from loud laughing and voice outside. DO Not GO THERE. We did get a full refund for our two night

This B&B was the best so far in our stays in PA Lisa really has it going on with the Very Delicious breakfast that's also included. Great people and great weather equals a blessing to have a great place to stay. My wife and I enjoyed every moment. We definitely will be staying there again so comfy it feels like home!

I have been to many b and bs. This one was cozy. The food for breakfast was delicious. We stayed in room 1 Victorian suite. Not enough outlets. Lamp shade kept falling off. The bathroom is very large but the tub needs replacing. There was a sign at check in that said they were undergoing renovations. Some bulbs in the room were out and not replaced. Never met the owners. If I did they didn't introduce themselves. It is off the beaten path. About 20 minutes from Marshall's Creek. I would stay again but I would request replacement bulbs. Don't put your toothbrush in the holder. It will fall off.
