The Bridgewater Inn

My husband and recently stayed here for our wedding anniversary /Baby moon in the long trail suite for 3 nights at the beginning of October 2025. Our stay was quite pleasant. Location is conveniently located to numerous markets, restaurants and towns nearby to explore. The room was clean and had everything we needed. My only complaint is the bed needs upgraded or rotated ( we were sloping ) as well as they need additional pillows or more supportive ones. Otherwise, we loved our cute little nook and would definitely stay here again.

What a dump! Stay away from this place. I would rate this a zero if that was a choice. Absent owner and absentee manager, what could go wrong?? Door combination did not work, had to prop open door with mat to keep from getting locked out, called mgmt company, person on phone said they would email/text new combination, never did. The carpet in the unit was very old and filthy, stains everywhere, doubt it has ever been cleaned. Only thing missing was a chalk outline for a dead body! Used hand towel in bathroom and the towel ring fell off the wall, it was just propped there, by cleanup crew, sink stopper was broken off and was just lying in the sink. Tried to make a cup of coffee, the cord could not reach the wall plug, so had to place coffee maker either on top of the trash can or the carpet

TLDR: it’s for sale and the management company isn’t doing their job. Good: it’s clean and it’s close to Woodbridge! Poor: it’s falling apart- handles loose, door lock loose. They provided a keurig but no cups? I wasn’t able to talk with anyone- only text. It was just weird. Like whomever is running it doesn’t want to spend any money.

The host Chris, the house , the surroundings, the view, everything is perfect about this house. The kitchen is huge and the rooms a also big and comfortable. The location of the house is great. It has two fireplaces and three rooms and three complete bathrooms. It is very close to the center of town and to many attractions. I recommend it a 100%.

I generally do not write reviews but thought I should in this case. First of all, this is not an INN in the traditional sense. This is misleading. It is an Air B&B at best. I stayed in the Long Trail room and generally, the experience was OK. I was there for one night traveling through the area. The site is convenient and the space was relatively clean. I did have cobwebs, dust, hair in the bathroom, and a requirement to take out your own trash and do the dishes which was disappointing given the $60 cleaning fee that is charged. The room was scented with a powerful sweet chemical smell. Probably Febreze or some kind of air "freshener". Less sensitive people would have had a problem. I was also disappointed in the decor.
