The Brick Hotel/Inn/Lodging

RUN AWAY AND DON'T LOOK BACK! This is the WORST place you could ever stay. Let's talk atmosphere. You drive in through Newtown and everything is idyllic UNTIL you get to the hotel. It is something out of Severence: the restaurant below is not in business (so that means no convenient food right below where you are staying), it will say on your reservation "garden view" when in reality it is a slab of concrete with tables stacked one on top of the other outside (what a lovely thing to see outside your hotel), and though there is a front desk no one is there. You could say the place is "charming" or let's call is what it is - literally lopsided; the rooms are far from a charming size if shared by two adults and the queen bed promised is nothing more that maybe a full or a twin with a littl

Enjoyed the quiet room and comfortable bed!

Had family stay here many times and they love it. Not far from us down the road. They said the charm was the view and walking around in the mornings and evenings.

Absolutely horrendous. The place has visible mold, smells awful, and the linens were filthy. The owner was incredibly rude and unprofessional .. truly should not be operating a business. This place needs to be shut down immediately for health and safety reasons.

Wall paper peeling, chipped paint. Restaurant closed, not revealed during booking. Time for some maintenance work. Lots of potential for a 200+ yo inn.|Historic Inn in need of some love. Rooms on 2nd and 3rd floors not elevator, due to age of hotel (understandable).
