The Boxley Place Inn

I can’t say enough about this place. Our hostess Christy was FANTASTIC. The home was beautiful. Our room was gorgeous. My wife and I did the Virginia Scenic Railway Tour just up the street. The Boxley Place Inn is convenient to restaurants, wineries, vineyards. Less than 20 minutes to Lake Anna. I can’t recommend this place enough

It was our first time staying here and we will definitely be back. Upon entering, I was blown away at how clean the entire house was. The bed was comfy and our room was stocked with everything we needed. The breakfast was fantastic! Fresh fruit and locally-made quiche! Olivia was our host and she was so pleasant, sweet, and hospitable. We were in town for a wedding, and chose this place because it was the closest to the venue. But boy, did we luck out by choosing to stay here! For all of the reasons above, we will definitely be visiting this lovely historic inn again for a weekend get-away!

We were in awe when we fist arrived at this gorgeous house. We were warmly greeted and welcomed at the door by 2 lovely ladies who showed us around and to our room. The house is beautifully decorated and steeped in history. Our room, the blue room, was the smallest but perfect for us as it was cozy and comfortable. The breakfast was delicious and our places at the table were beautifully set. We enjoyed the morning looking around the house inside and out. It was such a lovely stay. We will surely return!

Excellent service, food, and room. A great B&B. Convient to Lake Anna and There is Avery nice restaurant in downtown Louisa which is only a couple of blocks walking distance.

Staff (Elaine) very welcoming from check in to check out. Showers had unlimited hot water with great pressure. Rooms were clean and filled with lovely antique furniture. Breakfast was amazing with many options and loved the full dining set with individual name tags.
