The Boarding House at Seminary Hill

I brought a group of 43 people to the Boarding House (and Old Ross House) for a birthday weekend and it was the perfect venue. The rooms were chic, clean and comfortable, and the communal atmosphere was perfection. Ronni was so helpful and made sure everyone had what they needed (right down to the gluten free bagels at breakfast and dog treats for our pups). Couldn’t recommend this place more!

We loved our stay. Ronni, the house manager, was very kind and our apartment was beautiful, comfortable, and calming. We slept blissfully, had great water pressure in the shower, and appreciated being walking distance to town. The cidery was gorgeous too, and the food was excellent. We brought our dog and they even had a jar of dog treats waiting in the kitchen. This is a special place and we were sad to leave.

Stayed in the top-floor suite of the uphill building. Cozy room with unique layout and nice views. Everything possibly needed was easy to find in the kitchenette, lounge, bath, and bedroom. Easy to find, easy to access, plenty of parking. A pleasant surprise on a trip where we were not very familiar with the area.

An absolute gem in the Catskills. The simple, zen-like decoration was perfect. This is a bed and breakfast for those who desire the option of better privacy. I could go on and on. Simple. Tasteful. Country. Ronnie is the absolute soul of this operation. WiFi was medium. A bit weak in room 4 upper house (you do want this apartment even if it had no WiFi) and the shower head is weak and could be replaced.
