The Bernards Inn

My wife and I had dinner at the Bernardsville Inn on Sunday night and had a very positive experience. The food was excellent, and the service truly stood out. Our waitress, Julia, was outstanding—professional, attentive, and clearly very good at what she does. Manager Orlando also stopped by to say hello, which was a thoughtful touch. Highly recommend and we look forward to coming back!

Spent two nights here while visiting family in the area. Staff were very helpful and friendly. The room was quite large compared to newer hotels, and very comfortable.

From the second we checked in, the team was genuinely thoughtful, and the whole stay felt easy and well-managed. Breakfast was a real win fresh, hearty, and exactly what you want before heading out and the quiet street location meant we got uninterrupted sleep. For the comfort, cleanliness, and service at this price point, I wouldn’t hesitate to book here again.

Beautiful Hotel and rooms. Service was exemplary. They just need to go through the hotel and replace tje runners onthe stairs, caulk and paint some of the cracks and replace replace carpet. However the food and service was extraordinary. Really top self!

Hotel is very clean. Staff are very friendly and engaging. Restaurant is excellent, has a nice bar area. They have entertainment downstairs, we saw a band that plays a tribute to Billy Joel. They were very good. Need advance reservations. Easy parking but they also offer valet. There are no elevators so you have to climb stairs but they offer to bring your bags up for you.
