There are so many better places to stay in the area, you should skip this one. ||I stayed in the studio (room 1). The room itself was visibly clean with *incredibly* old fixtures and appliances. In many places the managers had chosen to paint over things rather than replace. I don't mind if things are old, but if you move or look behind the furniture (which I really should not have done) there was a world of dust bunnies and old dessicated spider webs. Unfortunately when I put my head down to sleep, I could see into the gap behind the kitchen cabinets and it was AWFUL. It seemed no one had cleaned back there in years. It was hard for me to fall asleep after that, and at that point in the night, I had no where else to go. I only stayed here because my AirBnB reservation fell through and wh
The hotel makes decent efforts, but falls short. You get what you paid for, I think some of the clientele it may attract because of the cheap rates reflect that. Large groups of people were out front partying until very late, early into the morning. The number was called, and texted, no response. I was not about to approach a large group of people arguing and partying and drunk at 2-3:00 in the morning. The welcome email informs guests that there is a 10:00 PM quiet time. This is not enforced. ||The coffee machine was disgusting… See the pictures. Inside of the carafe was crusted with filth as was the basket inside. I opted to overnight a cold brew the provided Styrofoam cup. (see picture) Not sure what the cleaning fee they insist on charging goes toward.||I would've liked to open
Recently had a two night stay over the holiday weekend. Interesting place.. Pros: The room was clean & cozy. Great shower. For the price point these were our main concerns. Not too far off the beaten path for accessibility to the north and south. Cons: A little on the creepy side. There is no office, everything is done by email although the lady came out to help us check in when we were about to call the number provided. There were not too many guests, I can understand why. The refrigerator leaks (and is not cold) and we almost blew a fuse the one time we attempted to use the microwave for popcorn. All windows/sliding door is sealed shut. While we wanted a budget hotel, and you get what you pay for, with the added $30 cleaning fee we feel there are better options for our price point closer
Basic alternative to camping. Room is clean, not fancy. No real complaints.
We stayed the whole weekend in Massachusetts because of a family wedding. We were originally going to stay on the wedding campsite, but the prices there are downright evil. I managed to get us a room online for this hotel as it was the closest. We had a hard time getting there because it was dark and there aren't any lights and of course in this area the internet cuts out giving me trouble with the GPS. On top of that, there aren't really any lights or signs that scream "Hey! This is the motel!" so it was hard to find it. The format outside is very odd, nobody was working in the office, and when we called, some guy unlocked the door for us from wherever he was and we went in. It did look very nice in there. I liked the bedsheets and the wallpaper and pictures match perfectly. It was rather
