The Beacon Hotel

This place checks all of the boxes. From the boutique, adorable rooms to the kind, friendly service from all of the staff - this is truly an experience you won’t forget. My partner and I stayed here this past weekend and literally within minutes were greeted by the sweet, warm hospitality that was Christina. She is why we won’t forget our experience - she was welcoming, inviting, funny, and very accommodating. She makes it an effort to remember you and your guests and even why you’re in town. She is a huge part of the reason why we will absolutely return. You simply don’t get the Christina effect anywhere else! Loved this place. We only stayed one night but wish we had planned for two nights. The people that run this place is so nice and made sure we had everything we needed. Down to earth people. We had a clean room with hot shower and comfortable beds. Nice private walk to the beach and wasn't crowded at all. Walking distance from places to eat and a store across the street. The motel has a nice sitting area that's very quiet. We slept well in our room. My husband and I both said we wish we had of stayed two nights. I do recommend this place especially for a quiet couple's getaway.

My boyfriend and I booked a last-minute trip to the beach and decided to stay at The Beacon, and we’re so glad we did. As soon as we arrived, Christina welcomed us and was incredibly friendly and helpful. She made the whole check-in process easy and really set the tone for a relaxing stay. One of our favorite things about the stay was the private beach access—it made going back and forth from the beach incredibly convenient. Christina was also so thoughtful and kind during our stay. She even had extra bags for shell hunting, which was such a fun little touch. After we got a little too much sun one day, she was sweet enough to bring us some aloe, which we really appreciated. Our room was very clean and comfortable. Overall, we had a really great experience and would definitely recommend

The Beacon is a hidden gem in Salter Path. Renovations have brought this little place back to life with such nostalgia and welcoming atmosphere. The rooms are decorated in soft beachy colors and the beds are comfortable. We rented a double kitchenette room and it was comfortable enough for 3 adults. Some of the rooms are pet friendly and the pet fee is affordable. Christina was an excellent hostess during our stay. Her warm and outgoing personality makes you feel right at home. Oscar was attentive with requests made and was very polite. Staff were quick to help with any needs and also allowed space to enjoy your vacation. Positive: Hotel employee was great and very, very helpful. Was visiting on business and this nice little hotel was perfect. Not roudy, or noisy, easy access to the beach. Location is great! Overall very satisfied with my stay and with their service. A+++ Negative: A little dated, the bathroom could use some repairs, but still satisfied with my stay.
