The Beachview Inn Clearwater Beach

This looks nice on line and it has great pricing points for the area. Please do not be fooled - this place is an actual DUMP!||Our room was so dirty with dust, dirty table and floor, pee on the toilet seat and the floors had areas with big gaps between the panels.||The breakfast is a JOKE! ||Please DO NOT STAY HERE!

I wanted to love this place because their staff is amazing and so is the location. However, the rooms and the overall building are in desperate need of upgrades. The sliding glass door to our balcony didn’t fully close, leaving a large gap at the top of the door, which on a night with 40mph wind gusts caused a howling noise to be present all night as well as let the (uncharacteristically) cold air into the room all night. In addition to that the front door plate for the door lock was broken and caused the front door to sometimes be stuck making entering the room difficult. There was no offer made for a maintenance person to come by to fix either issue. The faucet in the tub had been seemingly repaired with expanding foam and the water wouldn’t get warm. I just stayed here for 3 nights. Location is pretty good but let’s just say the pictures don’t represent the actual rooms, at least the room I got didn’t. It was fairly nicely remodeled however the room smelt like mold, there was black mold on the door and probably there AC unit. There wasn’t room service unless you booked it the night before , so take out your trash daily and go get fresh towels at the office. The pool is not heated so be-ware, I was under the impression it was for some reason. The street is very noisy as you’ll have live music playing every night till well after I went to bed. The breakfast left a lot to be desired. I’m just saying for a little bit more money per night I could have gotten something that better fit my expectations. Unfortunately I made a bad choice.

We stayed at the Beachview Inn and, honestly, apart from the great location, the stay was disappointing. The hotel feels a bit old and not very well maintained. The room we chose was comfortable, which was the main positive aspect.Breakfast was terrible—it was basically just snacks and a few items you could grab from the fridge, nothing resembling a proper breakfast. For the price you pay, the only real justification is being close to the beach.If location is the most important factor for you, this place might work. Otherwise, it falls short compared to what you would expect for the rate

The hotel is in a great location right across the street from the beach, close to shops and restaurants. However, I would never stay there again. The room had a strong odor of cigarette smoke that hit us as soon as we walked in. The rooms are old and outdated. The worst part was, we found ants on our bed after returning from dinner. When we went to the front desk, we were told they were all booked and there were no other rooms. It was pretty late and we tried to find another hotel nearby, but pretty much everything was fully booked. We had no choice but to try and clean off the bed with ants and stay there. The girl at the front desk was extremely unprofessional and rude. It was definitely not worth the hassle or money. If you value cleanliness, I would definitely not stay there.
