The Awtrey House

The Awtrey House is so special! From the gorgeous views to the amazing hospitality provided by Peggy and Dennis Awtrey. Gorgeous architecture and the most comfortable beds! This was our 2nd visit and our 3rd is already booked!

Amazing experience at the Awtrey house. Gorgeous property, wonderful breakfast and the most gracious hosts. Dennis and Peggy made our anniversary even more special. A must stay when in the Manzanita area. Exceptionally clean, comfortable and peaceful. The entire experience was top notch.

This B&B was absolutely lovely. We loved our room, which overlooked the Pacific Ocean and Manzanita Beach. Going to sleep to the sound of the waves crashing was one of the highlights of our stay. The other was the congenial hosts, Dennis and Peggy. They were friendly and helpful and they served us delicious breakfasts each day. They provided us with utensils and plates so we could make a little meal one evening, which was very helpful. The rooms are good sized and include both a shower and a soaking tub (which has a view of the ocean!). The common area of the house was comfortable and homey. They knew their neighbors, which I particularly appreciated since I used to have family that lived next door to them and we were able to chat about mutual connections. The Awtrey house offers guests peace,relaxation,comfort,great views and most of all outstanding hosts. Dennis and Peggy are great conversationalists who are passionate about the B&B experience offered to their guests. Our room was very comfortable and truly offered us a chance to unwind. The breakfasts that were served at a convenient time and the food was delicious and enjoyed by all. |We spent hours walking on the beach and numerous trails around Manzanita Beach, and exploring downtown. There is a beautiful state park located near downtown and is just a short car ride away. |We are looking forward to our next visit to the Awtrey House.
